LANs: Sharing and Learning for Better Health

Health care quality improvement works best when everyone learns and everyone shares. That’s why the foundation of QIO assistance is offering the opportunity for you to participate in Learning and Action Networks (LANs).

Through LANs, we are bringing together groups of quality-minded providers, physicians and stakeholders to focus on improving care delivery and outcomes.

Our goal is to establish and support an array of LANs that will allow us to collectively achieve multiple Aims leading to the broader goals of better health care (through reduced harm), better care (through prevention and cardiac health improvement) and lowering costs through improvement.

We are offering six distinct LANs:

• Hospital Acquired Infections
• Nursing Home Healthcare Acquired Conditions
• Reducing Adverse Drug Events
• Prevention through Promotion of Immunizations and Screening
• Cardiovascular Health
• Care Transitions

Timeframes and criteria for LAN participation may vary. We encourage you to learn more by contacting us.
