Patient Safety WVMI is dedicated to helping you get the best possible care from your Medicare health care providers. In our work with hospitals and nursing homes, we focus on five areas:

  • Improving heart failure treatment 
  • Improving surgical care 
  • Reducing rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections
To improve patient care in these areas, WVMI will help health care providers improve their processes and systems by offering free tools and education.
